What is a CC Spin?
I’m glad you asked. A CC Spin is a fun, social way to read another classic book from your CC List (if you’d like to know more about what a CC List is or how to join the Classics Club then pop over here).
When we post a new Spin announcement simply create your own post that lists twenty books of your choice that remain “to be read” on your Classics Club list.
This is your Spin List.
You have to read one of these twenty books by the end of the time period allocated for that spin (usually 4-6 weeks).
The rest of the rules are pretty flexible and open to individual interpretation and creativity!
We know it can be hard to stay on track and enthused about your Spin Book for the whole 4-6 weeks. Support and encouragement for all our CC Spinners can be found on twitter, fb, instagram and goodreads. We hope you join us in cheering everyone on to finish line!
If you’re struggling with your book, check the Reviews by Members tab for other clubbers who may have already read your book. Our (soon to be) Resources page may also help you with find the encouragement you need to continue.
As always, the CC Spin prize is the reading experience itself!
