  1. I completely failed at this. I started with good intentions – I looked at Catch-22, opened the pages a little, flicked through slightly and then lost all interest. Perhaps it wasn’t the right time to tackle a book that intimidates me. Next time!

  2. I still have ~200 pages of my #10, St. Augustine’s City of God, left to read. (I’m reading an abridged version, so this is less impressive than it might have been.) I think I would have finished it, but I was overly ambitious and took on the spin the same month I was reading Ulysses for Roof Beam Reader’s read-along. But I finished Ulysses (and blogged about it), so I don’t feel too bad about not finishing Augustine yet.
