  1. No, I didn’t! I am reading Anna Karenina, and has just started. It is another thick book, but lovely writing. I will take my time reading it.

    1. That one’s on my list!! Apparently some say the heroine was an inspiration for Scarlett O’Hara. Or at any rate, that the heroine SEEMS a tad like Scarlett. I’ve seen nothing to suggest Margaret Mitchell read Edith Wharton. But she probably did. She read everything and it was published when she was in junior high and reading like it was her job. 🙂 That’s why this one’s on my list.

  2. No, I didn’t. My spin was for Last of the Mohicans, which I have tried to read before, and still intend to, but just lately I have been too busy for such a dense, difficult book. Maybe during my holidays…

  3. I finished last night! I read three plays by Sophocles: Antigone, Oedipus the King and Electra. No. 5 on my list was actually the Oedipus Trilogy but I found a copy of these plays in my home library (probably from one of my kids’ college reading) and so I decided close enough! I enjoyed reading them all. I plan to post about them at my blog over the weekend.

  4. Nope, still reading Jane Eyre, though I’ve finished a huge number of shorter novels along the way. Still, I always knew that five weeks wasn’t long enough for me to do this title the justice it deserves. I have high hopes of completing before Christmas however! 🙂
