My last CC review was The house on the Borderland, a classic horror novella:

I finished _I Explain a Few Things: the Selected Poems of Pablo Neruda,_ but I still have to write a review. I am re-reading Bleak House for Victober, but I probably won’t finish in time. And Margaret, I loved The Tenant of Wildfell Hall! I might reread that one next Victober.

I finished listening to my Cspin book yesterday: Travels with a Donkey in the Cévennes, by Robert Louis Stevenson. Excellent and sometimes so funny. I’ll try to review it soon

I’m progressing slowly with my spin, Jane Eyre, not because it’s disappointing but because I’m savouring it chapter by chapter. Somehow I don’t think it’ll be done in a week’s time…

I finished my #ccspin book, early even! Edith Wharton’s The Custom of the Country. Really good!

I’m reading The Golden Notebook and have just found out that it’s the centenary of Doris Lessing’s birth on October 22nd, so that feels very apt!
