The good news? I finished both my spin book The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde AND Christine’s spin book Summer by Edith Wharton. The bad news is that I don’t have a review up for either one of them ………….. yet. 🙂

I had a non-fiction spin this time. Not always easy to read & outdated at times. However, Silent Spring by Rachel Carson was fascinating and infuriating at the same time….for more please see my review

Yes, I got mine read too, I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith. Not a half-bad read, but I still found it frustrating in places.

I read The Charwoman’s Daughter, a “forgotten classic.” Unfortunately, there’s a reason it’s been forgotten!

I did! My first successful spin in years!)) It was A Farewell to Arms, and it just confirmed my suspicion that Hemingway was not my guy… But anyway, good to be done with it! I’ll post about it sometime later, hopefully even today 🙂
