We promised you a spin number this morning, and here it is! Your Spin Number is –
1.
If you joined the game last week, find number 1 on your Spin List! That’s the title you are challenged to read by December 1, 2016. We’ll toss a post up on December 1 to see who completed the game.
As always, the prize is the reading experience. Details here.
In case anyone asks — it would be awesome if everyone posted about their Spin book on December 1. But that’s not mandatory or anything. If you want to, though, have at it! 🙂
Check in below if you played. What’s your #1 title? Are you glad, hesitant, excited about your title? Do tell!

I’ve posted my review here. I read “The Late George Apley” a magnificent social satire by John P. Marquand.

This time it shall be The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov. I love Pevear and Volokhonsky translations and I took this opportunity to buy their revised edition.

I got The Last of the Mohicans. I’ve never been able to get into it before, but I’m excited because I’m in the midst of an early American history binge.

My choice is White NIghts by Dostoevsky – one I hoping not to get! Ah well, it’s a short book – which I hope might ease me into Crime & Punishment.

The spin number for the latest Classics Club spin is #1 ??!! I intended to read all the titles on my list up to the spin number as I have before, and didn’t think about the chances of getting the number one too seriously, and have spent today reading and posting on the first title of my list, so now what? Another challenge is required. Any ideas, anyone?

I have a similar problem as I inadvertently took my spin book (The Secret Garden) away for the w/e as I needed an easy read to travel with. I will finish it tonight…then what?
Maybe we should pick another number between us & vow to read that as well ?

Perhaps choose a random number and read backwards to #1?
