April 10 through May 30 – Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
— # —
All right, clubbers! We want to know how many of you finished (or nearly finished) our first sync read.
What did you think of the novel? Would you ever reread it? What was your favorite/least favorite part?
Have any struggles during the read? A favorite character or plot point or quote or moment or insight?
Weigh in below — chat, leave a link to your post if you wrote something, be encouraged if you haven’t finished the book yet, etc. (Though if you haven’t finished the book yet, be prepared for spoilers below! This post is open to them!)
There is no Mr. Linky feature below because the point in this feature is to talk together in a central place, and list our blogs if it comes up. (Which is of course welcome.)
What did you think of this feature? Do you like sync reads?

I thought Janie was a rich and interesting character. Her story grabs the reader in and you have to know what happens to her. I hope everyone loved the book as much as I did. I could talk about it for ages.

I finished this quite quickly and loved it. My love is growing with time too – the more I think about it, the more I appreciate it.
I look forward to reading all the reviews as they come in.
Here’s mine –

I read it – and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the ending very memorable – my thoughts are here.
